[BIM Software Implementation Case] AFAS Stadium

An example of minimizing miscommunication and work-related errors!

In August 2019, part of the roof of the Morenaar Stand at AFAS Stadium collapsed due to strong winds. Fortunately, there were no matches taking place, and no injuries were reported, but the damage was significant. There was a design flaw in the structural joints, with insufficient thickness in the welds, and damage from strong winds experienced in the past contributed to the collapse. At the end of 2019, ASK Romein was selected for the design and structural engineering, and they began collaborating with BAM Bouw en Techniek. BIM was maximally utilized throughout the engineering process, enabling clear communication among project stakeholders and seamless interaction between different software. Since there are many points of contact between the existing structure and the new structure, point cloud data measured with a 3D scanner is being used in the engineering and assembly processes. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us. [BIM Software Implementation Case Study] Amaar Bakke

Reducing issues in the pre-construction phase! One of the largest environmental projects in Europe utilizing BIM.

The new plant "Amar Bakke," aimed at waste incineration and energy recovery, has replaced the Amar incinerator, which had been in use for 40 years until 2017, and features ski slopes and a climbing wall. The Danish engineering company Moe A/S was responsible for the planning of the structure and the management of the Amar Bakke project. Utilizing "Tekla Structures," they detailed the modeling from rivets to bolts, and also used it for generating quantity specifications, bid lists, order catalogs, and construction management. This product is consistently used daily by a drafting and modeling team of 3 to 6 people, while structural engineers check intricate details within the model and take measurements, sharing the model with other project stakeholders for collaboration. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us. Data Integrity Compliance Software for Laboratory Process Management

Is LIMS not enough?! Ensure data integrity with LabX Server, the software for process management in laboratories!

Since the FDA announced its data integrity guidance, more companies have decided on their response policies and have gradually begun to take actual action, but is their response truly sufficient? Many users have already implemented common information systems used in laboratories, such as LIMS, but the critical flaw of these systems is that they only record test reports. Unless it can be proven that the processes leading to a certain test result are complete, consistent, and accurate, data integrity cannot be achieved. Metler Toledo's "LabX Server" can integrate with LIMS and ELN, and it comprehensively manages not only sample information and test report management through higher-level systems but also the results of measurement and testing processes, each step execution results, equipment used, and whether any modifications were made. Furthermore, because it can reliably execute everything from workflow design to management, it also serves as a mistake-proofing measure in laboratory work, helping to avoid risks such as redoing tasks and wasting samples. Please take a look at the details of Metler Toledo's LabX Server, which simultaneously achieves efficiency improvement, productivity enhancement, and data integrity assurance.
